By-Laws
Composed of three to four volunteers or appointees to serve a one-year term every other year. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of review and update of the by-laws and other such duties as Chairperson or Council shall request.
Elections Committee
Composed of three to four volunteers or appointees to serve a one-year term. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of soliciting self-nominations for annual district elections, developing and distributing ballots to all staff, collecting and counting ballots, conducting run-off elections, conducting election of officers and other such duties as Chairperson or Council shall request.
Executive Committee
Composed of the three officers of the Council, Election Committee Chairperson, plus the chairperson of committees as deemed necessary by the Council and will serve a two-year term. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of convening ad-hoc committees, monitoring progress of committees, implementing By-Laws and other duties as the Chairperson or Council shall request.
Promotions Committee
Composed of three to four volunteers or appointees to serve a one-year term. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of meeting on a regular basis to discuss improvement of the image and understanding of SAC, facilitation and organization of promotional opportunities for SAC (e.g. Staff Picnic, Relay for Life), facilitate ideas to improve interest in SAC representation and other duties as the Chairperson or Council shall request.
Redistricting Committee
Composed of three to four volunteers or appointees to serve a one-year term on an ad-hoc basis. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of review and update of SAC districts as necessary to maintain fair and adequate non-exempt staff representation and other duties as the Chairperson or Council shall request.

Composed of one or two volunteers or appointees to serve a one-year term. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of updating and maintaining the SAC website, posting meeting agendas and meeting minutes to the website in a timely manner, monitoring website usage and other duties as the Chairperson or Council shall request.
Benefits Committee
Ad-Hoc committee composed of seven members, representing groups across campus, with one being from SAC to serve a two-year term. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of monitoring benefits programs to ensure that they meet the needs of faculty, administrators and staff; recommended revisions or adds programs in response to changes in laws and regulations and need of the campus community; and provides guidance to leadership within the Office of Human Resources on relevant administrative and procedural matters, and on communications concerning benefits.
Parking Ad-Hoc Committee
Ad-Hoc committee composed of 15 members, representing groups across campus, with one being from SAC. Duties and responsibilities shall consist of making changes/revisions to parking, signage and roadway issues on campus.
