Staff Advisory Council Minutes
Thursday, August 9, 2012 1:00 p.m.
Eck Law School
Present: Patty Smith, Marie Revak, Tami Springer, Elisa Podrasky, Carloyn Brooks, Jody Klontz, Jan Solkey, Kim Miller, Alan Seidler, Joe Negri, Fred Sonneborn
Excused: Janice Tabb, James Stevens, Jean Rinehart, Michele Tharp, Sandy Sarber, Kathy Seymour, La Minda Wilson, Char-anna Koblick, Kathy Troth

I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 1:08 p.m. by Patty Smith
SAC welcomed Kim Miller who will replace Joe Wheeler in District 25. Introductions took place.
July minutes were reviewed and approved –motion by Marie Revak with a 2nd by Jan Solkey
II. Committee Updates
Benefits Committee
Two meetings were held last month to discuss Open Enrollment. One meeting is scheduled for August.
Parking Appeals
Nothing to report
Ad Hoc Parking
Joe Negri will replace Joe Wheeler on this committee.
Promotions Committee
Nothing to report
Compassion Fund
Nothing to report
Webpage Committee
The old SAC site still needs to be disabled.
ECDC
Nothing to report
Elections Committee
Nothing to report
III. New Business
-Jennifer Addis, HR Benefits Manager, and Vince, Pharmacy Manager of the ND Wellness Center, attended SAC. They presented information on the Wellness Center and took questions from the group. They also received feedback on services and experiences SAC members/employees have had at the Center.
IV. Additional Business
SAC meetings will resume in LaFortune for September (ND Room) and October (Gold Room), however, the elevators will not be operating.
