August 8, 2002 minutes meeting were approved. 

 

Human Resources presented us with information about: 

 

HR Connection: This will replace the staff newsletter. It will be a quarterly newsletter. The first issue will be October 1, 2002. The following issues will be on the 15th of January, April, July, & October. Several changes will take place. The newsletter will be online with printed copies going to large departments that have limited computer access 

 

I Learn Program: Classes and programs are being offered through Human Resources and OIT. These will be listed at www.nd.edu/~ndoit/training. This program will also keep a history of classes taken for future references. 

 

Spousal ID Program: The university is offering an ID to spouses of Notre Dame employees. There is a one time charge of $5.00. ID's will expire and need to be renewed the same date as employees. ID's may be used for discounts at bookstore, entrance to selected events, use of ND facilities and be able to use Doomer $ program. Sign up at Human Resources in Grace Hall.
