IV. Additional Business
New Members
Welcome to Julie Debuysser who is the new SAC rep from Athletics.
Joy Schosker is leaving SAC because she took new job in a different department.
Elections for SAC officers
After a vote from the SAC members present, Amie Davis is the new secretary, Kathy Stopczynski is the new Vice Chair and Patty Smith will remain as the Chair.
Dan Skendzel
Dan Skendzel came to SAC and asked for feedback from the SAC members about shuttle.
Concerns about crowd size and frequency of schedule seems to have subsided.
There has been great success from Mason Center. Employees love it. The shuttles are standing room only.
The service from the bus driver, Bill, has been overwhelmingly positive.
Dan shared that the numbers indicate that not many riders are taking the shuttle from the stadium, the Main Circle or the D6 parking lot. Dan recommends changing the schedule to limit those extra stops with the exception of the morning and evening routes from/to Mason.
Dan asked if a survey should be distributed to all employees. SAC discussed the questions and gave feedback to Dan.
Vacation Accrual
Rather than having students from CLAP present the proposed vacation policy, several Notre Dame employees will make the presentation at the May meeting. This was agreed upon by SAC by vote.
Members from SAC felt that it was more appropriate to have ND staff members presenting to SAC than students since the employees are the ones directly impacted.
V. Adjournment
With no further topics to discuss, Adele Almaguer made a motion to adjourn at 2:58 p.m. The motion was seconded by Sharon Konopka and passed.
Respectfully submitted,
