Lori is a “townie” who grew up on the west side of South Bend. She worked for Notre Dame for 17 years working in the Registrar’s Office, Sociology, Anthropology, and The Journal for Decision Sciences in Mendoza. In 1999, she left the University to further her education and pursue other adventures. In 2021, she returned to ND to work in the Department of Film, Television, & Theatre.

In her free time, she enjoys watching reality shows like the Bachelor/Bachelorette and Married at First Sight, spending time with her two Golden Retrievers and two cats, gardening, painting things, scrapbooking, shopping, walking, and traveling with her husband or friends. Lori has traveled to Greece, Canada, Mexico, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Spain, Poland, and; the Netherlands, and looks forward to doing more domestic and international travel. Hosting foreign high school exchange students is also something she enjoys. So far, she and her husband have hosted 18 students from 12 countries.

Lori earned a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from IUSB and a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
