Jason L. Kring joined the building services Department in 2022 as a custodian at the Joyce Center. He works as a traveler, which means he goes all over campus, wherever he is needed to complete cleaning tasks. His duties would include anything from covering when somebody is out sick, to providing emergency services in the case of a flood or any emergency cleaning task that needs a custodian’s attention immediately.

Jason also serves on the safety committee at the University of Notre Dame as well as. The quality circle.  Prior to his service here at Notre Dame. He worked in the towing and recovery industry for 32 years. He is also a member of the executive board on the board of directors for Michiana Crime Stoppers. 

Jason is married to his amazing wife Debbie, who also works here at the university as a custodian in the Building Services Department and has been with building services for 16 years. It is because of her that he is here. They are the parents of their fur baby son, Greyson Lee the cat. Jason loves to watch the History Channel and anything to do with law enforcement. One of his favorite hobbies is cooking.
