Katherine grew up in "the Reigon" between Chicago and South Bend; she and her family call South Bend's Westside home. Katherine will be graduating with her undergraduate degree from IUSB this May to start her graduate education in nonprofit administration. Katherine has held previous careers in healthcare and early childhood education before joining the University in 2021. Diversity and ethics are of particular importance to Katherine. She serves on Mendoza's DE&I Committee and Thrive! and Spectrum Employee Resource Groups. In her free time, Katherine enjoys attending music festivals, baking, and vegetable gardening.
